Role Overview:
As a MERN Stack Developer, you’ll be responsible for developing full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. You’ll work closely with our backend, frontend, and design teams to deliver robust solutions that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack
- Create and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
- Optimize front-end components for speed and scalability
- Work with MongoDB databases, including schema design and aggregation pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Debug issues across the stack and ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
Required Skills:
- At least 1 year of experience in MERN stack development
- Proficient in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with state management (Redux, Context API)
- Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and asynchronous programming
- Good understanding of security practices and API authentication methods (JWT/OAuth)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, or GraphQL
- Familiarity with AWS, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to unit testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha
- Understanding of basic DevOps workflows
